Community Engagement: Samet and Rockingham County Schools

When Samet Corporation broke ground on the new East Rockingham Elementary School last spring, community engagement was written into the plan from day one. Over the past year, Samet site supervisors have welcomed student field trips to the construction site, giving local fifth-graders a hard-hat look at the trades — from electrical work to concrete pours.
